WHO STEALS A TENT? Jason is a simple guy who likes hanging out with his mates and playing a bit of hacky sack. Vic is a former kickboxing instructor who has turned to the Adventure Black Market for some extra cash. Problem is, when Vic steals Jason's tent, she recognises him from high school, someone she had helped once. It's time for her to undo her mistake, but it's not gonna be easy. Get ready for some camping karate. Get ready... for the Black Market: Adventure!

What you will find in this website is a personal account in the making of this film from me, Brett Williams, being the writer/director/producer of Black Market: Adventure. ON MAKING THE FILM:

Black Market: Adventure was not made in a similar fashion to most short films produced in Australia. It was not made for a film school or any educational institution, nor did it have the support of an established film production company. There was no specific goal in mind (ie. Tropfest) and the only money flowing into the production would be from one person, a full-time coffee-maker. After completing our course in Media Arts at Deakin University, we all tend to go our separate ways: some of us pursued careers in film and television, others have chosen a different path. This project was a way to get everyone together one last time to make a film that we could all be proud of, before everyone (including myself) took their own journeys elsewhere.

The question was, could we do it?
